Neon

Neon is a mixed-reality drawing app that allows the user to create personal neon designs, using either their hand or a controller to draw. With a mix of real-time lighting and reflections, the hope is that the artworks you will lovingly create will look like they really exist in your space.

This project is currently on-going in development, and was submitted as a part of the Meta Quest Presence Platform Hackathon 2024 . I am collaborating with Andrew Fox, who is acting as the project's designer

One of the main aspects of the app is the integration of realtime lighting and reflections. Using a custom shader along with scene perception, I was able to use the room's mesh to display these visuals.
